Masca trekking. Breath taking experience!

Masca is one of the "must-see" locations in Tenerife. So, everyone who wants to really experience what the island of Tenerife has to offer, must visit Masca. This is a place to feel your heart in your mouth and to see Tenerife differently.

The walk down from Masca village to the beach takes you through beautiful scenery. The trekking takes about 3-4 hours, depending on how used you are to moving on bad trails (steep hills, big and usually wet stones on which you must jump and etc.) While trekking, you need shoes with a steady footing. Also, it's a must to have some drinking water.

We arrived from Playa de las Americas to Masca by TITSA bus. It' very convenient way to go there and it' good because when you're driving you can admire the fascinating scenery, take photos or just relax. You don't need to worry about extremely bad traffic or road conditions.

When we put the axe on the helve and approached the beach, we took a boat-taxi from the beach back to Los Gigantes and then again by bus to Playa de las Americas.

Atlantic ocean. Tenerife

Atlantic Ocean is a big part of Tenerife, without which this island wouldn't be island. In fact, very few places on earth can suggest such easy access to the Atlantic Ocean. So, if you want to visit an island of subtropical climate and participate in ocean based fun (whale waching, surfing or scuba diving) - then Tenerife is especially for you!

My fiancé and I we love water and swimming, therefore, we didn't get bored in Tenerife :)

Under the sun in January. Tenerife.

January temperature of 26 C sounds too good to be true? Yes, I thought the same, but I was wrong. While in my country, Lithuania, people are frozen in the weather of -18 C, Tenerife can suggest you the real summer with the nature of paradise.

It is known that Tenerife is the largest and most populated island in the Canaries group, especially loved  for it's restaurants and black sand beaches. But there is a bit more to see, explore and to experience including Santa Cruz (the capital) with it's shops and archeological museum, Maunt Teide National Park , Masca trekking, Siam and Loro parks and so on.

However, almost everyone, who arrives at Tenerife (especially in winter), usually starts exploring it from sunny beaches and warm Atlantic Ocean water. Just like us! :)
